Born in 1961, Lang is not only a much sought after accompanist, working with the likes of Don Menza, Dusko Goykovich, and James Moody; he has a long list of recordings under his own name featuring his own compositions. He is a player known for his extraordinary musical flexibility - as is shown in his earlier Pirouet CD "Lotus Blossom" which features the Japanese singer Aya Murodate. He is a musician who has no trouble attuning himself to his playing partner; with his impressively sure sense for sound he can instantly react to the subtlest trace of nuance in the play of his counterpart.
